News 6th April

Good morning everyone & apologies for the lack of update over the last week, I am trying to learn a new version of WordPress that updates this website and failing miserably at present! We have 2 runners today, and 2 favourites with exceptional recent records so pressure is on that they don’t get beaten.. Ravenscar bids for a 4 timer at Pontefract and Madeeh attempts win number 5 on the bounce in a 4 runner race round Chelmsford. Just these two today who are both favourite, we have more tomorrow including Alsvinder who returns to turf off a decent mark at Catterick in the sprint.

We have had a winner since my last report, Lord Torronaga at Wolverhampton – he won on his seasonal debut beating the hot favourite, it was an excellent start to his 2021 campaign which will see him mix flat & hurdles. This new system won’t let me post his video but I am trying to sort it!

The daffodils are out at Green Oaks but the temperatures have plunged with snow flurries about yesterday! It was back to hats & gloves and felt more like February than early April. We won’t be getting the horses turned out to grass just yet….

Given that my news page is rather sparse today, I can’t even seem to add any more photos 🤷‍♀️ please do try and visit our extensively updated Facebook page or Twitter page, everything is on there including our recent videos of which there are plenty.

I will endeavour to return to my old version of WordPress by tomorrow so that normal service can be resumed. Thanks for your patience!
