Friday’s news & winner

Congratulations to Hope Eden Racing with their ultra tough mare, LITTLE INDIA who ground down the favourite at Southwell last night under an excellent ride from Andrew Mullen. She has been running consistently all winter and this was just rewards for her & her Owners in this friendly syndicate who also have En Meme Temps with us.

BTO winner ‘Alsvinder’ who will now have a freshen up and a return to tapeta, not sure he likes Southwell!

It had been a frustrating afternoon  to that point and it had looked as though it was going to be ‘one of those days’ but the mare pulled it out of the fire and we couldn’t have been more pleased for everyone. All horses & jockeys back safely from Southwell & Sedgefield.

We have no runners now until Sunday, so a day at home in the welcome Spring sunshine for our horses and a beach trip is planned for early tomorrow morning. Earlier in the week we had 3 unraced bumper horses to Southwell for an educational outing, all behaved well and the striking grey ‘Sir Jimmy Allen’ is going to stand out in the paddock with his flashy looks when he makes his racecourse debut….
