Tuesday’s news part 2
We have already had our first flat runner of the day, ‘Mr Carbonator’ and our Facebook caption sums it up perfectly…
Mr Carbonator has run a tremendously game race out in front and he was just denied in a photo at the end of the 1m 6f contest. A good ride from Ben Curtis despite being surely our most frustrating 2nd place of 2020.
Next up we have our multiple winners SHINE BABY SHINE & WEMYSS POINT in the staying contest at Newcastle. Shine is coming off the back of a short layoff, Wemyss ran well here for 2nd just last week. We would have preferred a 0-60 or 0-65 for both of them but there isn’t one of these at Newcastle any time between now and Christmas so they have to take their chance in this 0-75, and best of luck to all connections involved.
Our final runner is the shortest priced of our quartet, and can the progressive BURROWS SEESIDE make it a hat-trick of wins in his young career to date? He has been stepped up in trip a furlong by Phil, and although he is creeping up the handicap he looks to have a sound favourites chance for in this 7f Handicap.
This was one of his winning photos and he did it nicely despite being held in at a crucial stage.
We wish his Owners the best of luck!
And now for some photos from the yard the past few days….

Good luck BURROWS SEESIDE, let’s hope he can make it win number 3
