Stitch Up, novice hurdler by Milan for the Winter Season

The website will be getting updated most days now so apologies to those of you who are not on fb but have been missing the updates, it’s always a challenge keeping both up to date but as we head into our busiest time of the year we will be regular with our website news, photos & videos 😁

Henry with Leopold’s Rock on a wet day before the sunshine came back!

No runners yesterday but It was a significant day as our racing mad daughter, Indy, started Senior School. All went well and luckily she enjoyed it, always a challenge going to a new school and making  new friends.  I had treated both girls  to a day at the beach before they went back! We used to take horses regularly to Redcar and it reminded us how fantastic it was, we’ll be trying to get back out there some afternoons as the horses always enjoyed it and it only took about an hour.

Fun at the beach

We’ve been busy taking videos of the horses in preparation for our ‘Ten to Follow’ competition.
We are Aiming to produce an ‘Open Day’ style video with clips of every horse that will be eligible to earn points this winter, it should be ready by the end of next week and the competition starts 1st October. As soon as we have the video ready we’ll post the entry details, it’s going to be £10.00 to enter, all going to charity. Here are a couple of photos taken at the time of our videos yesterday….

Fille d’Avignon

Desaray Girl

Top Ville Ben

Rayna’s World

Shine Baby Shine

Lady Buttons

Little Bruce

Tekibleu de l’Orme

No runners until Sunday when the 2 year old ‘Fircombe Hall’ is entered. We were particularly pleased with the performance of ‘Master Newton’ last week, 2nd at Sedgefield on his Autumn debut and really appreciating the quicker surface. An imposing grey son of Mastercraftsman, he can get his head in front soon with luck.

Issey with ‘Milady Grace’ who will be running soon
