And we’re off… 🐎🐎🐎or just about, we just need the go ahead from Government that racing can resume and Ice Pyramid & December Second will be on their way to Newcastle on Monday, our first runners since Robin Des Chapp in a novice hurdle at Wetherby in March.  Katie, Julie & Phil will have to pass on course temperature checks before being admitted, and armed with good quality masks, plenty of hand sanitizer ( and luck) we hope to remain virus free and start bringing home some winners to Green Oaks in the coming months. There’s no denying it’s a worry but we just have to get on with it now and be as careful as we can.

Both our high class stayers run in the 5.05, and make a start over 1m4f In what was always going to be a highly competitive handicap. Expect ours to improve for the outing as you would imagine with a long summer & autumn ahead, but they have done plenty of work and go looking in fine condition with no holdups.

Our 2 year olds are also ready to make a start when they make the ballot – and we had a smart new addition to the team yesterday, a racy looking well bred Dark Angel colt who has impressed on all his gallop videos. He has just been called ‘ Dark Zeas’ and joins ‘Fircombe Hall’ & ‘Mont Blanc’ our existing ready to run pair.
