Tuesday’s News

One of our three runners today at Southwell & Musselburgh

We had a good winner on the flat at Newcastle a couple of days ago in ICE PYRAMID…. can we get another from either Lady Kyria or My Strong Man at Southwell in the 8 o clock tonight? Both are in the same staying handicap – and they have each way chances on their first try of fibresand. It’s a unique surface and they tend to either love it or hate it but both these handle some give on turf so we would hope they might cope with it.

Lady Kyria

Our first horse running today is up at Musselburgh – we have ABINGTON PARK having his 3rd start in the bumper and hurdling beckons for him after this. Coco as he is known at home is a jet black homebred gelding owned by Red Cap Racing & the Long family, and they are looking forward to going jumping with this son of Passing Glance who is a full brother to multiple winner Avidity.

Abington Park

ICE PYRAMID won his second race of the season at Newcastle following a close 2nd in between when the race wasn’t  run to suit him. He is a progressive middle distance handicapper who will stay further and he will remain  on the flat for now to see how much he can continue to progress.
