A busy Friday

7 runners today and we have kicked off with a close 2nd at Huntingdon from the improving WYE AYE for Colm McCormack. He should be winning soon….a very pleasing performance without quite getting the 1 that we wanted next to his name!

Our 6 still to run : RAVENSCAR, HANGARD, FASTERKHANI &  DUBH DES CHAMPS at Doncaster , ICE GALLEY & the red hot favourite ICE PYRAMID at Lingfield  ❄️🔥 Phil has gone on the long drive South with Henry who rides our other runner, Ice Galley, but we’ll be disappointed if ICE PYRAMID can’t double up under today’s Amateur, Simon Walker. He is a quickly improving 5 year old who escapes a hefty rise with a penalty here today for his Newcastle win… this is the video of that impressive victory last week.

It’s a quality card at Doncaster and we have a host of each way chances in the handicaps today, we also run the smart flat filly RAVENSCAR in the Listed Juvenile fillies hurdle and she has improved nicely on both starts this season. If she could gain some black type here it would be great for her future breeding page.

Hangard is a potentially smart staying chaser of the future and he lines up alongside our winning  hurdler DUBH DES CHAMPS in the last … it’s been a long patient comeback from an injury for Hangard and he stayed on nicely on his comeback recently.

4 year old ‘Fasterkhani’ makes his handicap debut, and rather like ‘My Strong Man’ we don’t think he is particularly well handicapped but he should certainly appreciate this better ground at Doncaster today, and he is capable of improving on his record so far.

Best of luck to our Horses, Owners & jockeys today, and a full report and preview for tomorrow’s exciting runners will be up this evening.
