Tues 21st May

Last night it was the Thoroughbred Breeders Association Awards. Our golden girl was up for two awards – Best British Bred Chase Mare and Best British Bred Hurdle Mare of 2018/19 –  she duly claimed both! Everyone is understandably so very proud of her and what she has achieved, we are lucky to have her and are glad to see her get the recognition she deserves. HUGE congrats to her owner breeders Keith & Jayne Sivills who have been with us from pretty much the start, thanks for sharing your superstar with us all!

Todays runners…

We have two runners at Hexham today, newcomer to the yard Fading Icon is having her first run since joining us for owners Quench Racing Partnership. She will be teaming up with conditional Tom Midgley to give him his first go over hurdles since joining PKR.

Our second runner of the day is Lord Roccoco having his first go in novice company with Tommy Dowson on board. He schools well at home and hopefully he can get a nice introduction to the hurdles, although it looks to be a good race with a tough one to beat for his first try. Good luck to him and owners The Roccoco Partnership.

Good luck to all owners, riders and connections, come home safe!

Phil is off to the Doncaster spring sales tomorrow and Thursday and is hopeful to find some top recruits to bring home for the team, any requests are welcome!
