Monday News…

Two runners today, firstly there’s Discay at Ayr in the 2m4 h’cap hurdle with Tommy Dowson on board for owners John & Linda Oldroyd. He came a close 2nd in his last outing beaten only 3/4 of a length, same trip today and up 5lbs for his efforts, but he is in top form as are most of the yard so there is no doubt he will do his best.

Tonight at Wolverhampton we have Man Of Verve who is also in top form at home and won one here in November for us. Joined up with Adam Kirby – a previous winning pilot of his, we wish the best of luck to owners Mr & Mrs Alan Jowsey.

Tomorrow Niven has another crack at his next novice chase. This time at local track Catterick back up in trip to 2m4, he remains in rude health and is partnered with Tommy Dowson again – we hope they can go one better than last time out for John Birtles & Bill Alan.

Stay safe and best of luck to them all!
