Hexham Winner!

Little Bruce in the Winners Enclosure

There were smiles all round following the diminuitive Little Bruce winning on his second chasing start at Hexham this afternoon. Tommy gave him a bold ride, jumping out in front and he never saw another rival, inspiring his partner to put in some quick fluent jumps. Rarely do you see a novice jump this well and despite it being his first run of the season he galloped all the way to the line. He is pictured above with Sue Soley, one of his Owners, and we are  delighted for them all. Julie led him up and  also won Best Turned Out to continue our excellent record. Tommy was also celebrating a double after his win on Inchcolm in the 3.15 for at T Davidson.

We had three runners and we weren’t disappointed with our other two either. Pullman Brown jumped well in the Novice before tiring late on, he’ll be a nice horse for Spring Novice handicaps once he learns his trade and hopefully he’ll get a sensible mark after his next start. This was a step in the right direction.

Dubh Des Champs in the green and yellow colours ran an absolute blinder for 4th on ground that would have been quicker than we anticipated. He was beaten only a length and two heads, is clearly going the right way and will stick to this trip. There are just a small number of 5 % or 10% left if interested, he won prize money already today for those who have joined his small Partnership.
