Monday 10th September

Captain Bob and The Resdev Way

A quiet Monday but the action starts tomorrow with 4 at Catterick and entries for Carlisle Wednesday and Chester Friday. We love having runners at our most local track and its free transport for Owners too, as is Thirsk & Ripon.

A new horse arrived from Ireland on Saturday and we have another new bumper horse coming this week – the new stables will be filled pretty quickly but we are committed to being a friendly yard that is not too big and can give all our horses AND owners the time they deserve, we are very much about individual attention and no horse becomes a number here.

Some of the in training horses making friends after exercise. We have lots of seperate paddocks for them.

If anyone would like to get involved on a small scale with us we still have a small number of shares remaining in the Getaway filly who is an exciting NH prospect for next season, she is doing really well at grass this summer. She is out of a Listed hurdle winning dam by a top class stallion, and you would find it hard to find a more correct looking filly. This was her in May and she has really thickened out since then.

Stargazer is on track for The Cesarewich after his run last week, we’ll see what the handicapper does with his mark tomorrow, a couple of pounds off would be nice to give us a good each way chance on October 14th.

And to finish we loved these photos sent to us by Steve who now has Stenna (Transient Bay) – he had a great first day out at the beach and loved it…
