Miss Scarlett who makes her stable debut at Newcastle in the 2.10

Its been an early start this morning as Phil, I and our girls were up and gone from Dover in time for him to be home, changed and away hopefully to saddle Imajorblush in the first at Newcastle this afternoon. He’s on target, he just needs to get his shorts off and a more suitable racing outfit on when we arrive back around 11am – we’ve been on holiday for a week and we are all feeling revitalised! Not one for too much sitting around, Phil managed to learn some surf boarding skills while away, although he did make a few major splashes en route to looking this professional!

Phil learning a new challenge!

This was me on my first attempt – not what you would call a natural….

So there are two at Newcastle on the AW – Miss Scarlett in a competitive fillies handicap and Imajorblush who  will be seeing a racecourse for the first time in the 7f novice stakes. The trio is completed by Good Time Ahead at Chester who has a good draw in 1 –  his AW form  is  better than his turf form, but this draw will help.

We’re looking forward to getting back and seeing all the horses, our Team headed by Simon have done a sterling job as always when we’re away and as always, nothing better than a winner to celebrate when you’re away, courtesy of The Resdev Way 🐎 lets hope for more of the same this afternoon.
