Friday’s Racing News

Richard Strauss

It was the  turn of Rixhard Strauss this afternoon at Haydock for his Owners Zoe and George Hassal.  He’s one of the most challenging rides at home as he is so enthusiastic in his work! It wasn’t quite the dream result at one of their local tracks but he came 2nd in a competitive handicap and is definately going the right way. Captain Bob ran okay at Carlisle last night, not getting a lot of luck in running and held up when just making his run. If he drops a few pounds he can win again when things fall right for him. We’ve no runners now until Moday when Wemyss Point heads to Pontefract to try and repeat his April Victory at the track.
