Mon 26th Feb…

Luckily Ayr passed its inspection at 9:30 after Phil & Katie had set off early this morning with Stenna & Skip on board for the 3m hurdle, thankfully no turning back! Its down to a 6 runner field now, but looks fairly competitive with some good horses in the line up and a potentially very well handicapped one too, so our duo will have to be at their best. Stenna aka Transient Bay will now be plenty fit enough and up to the task of 3m following his game effort to win last time out at Uttoxeter. He teams up with Nathan Moscrop today claiming a handy 5lbs as Adam will be on Skipthescales  and unfortunately Tommy is still out of action for a little while following his op on a broken collarbone. Skip is also a last time out winner and remains in great form at home. Good luck to Les & Maureen Richards with Skip, and The Waking Ned Partnership with Stenna – who has a good group of you making the trek up to Ayr to watch your gentle giant today.
