News Mon 5th Feb…

We had a great effort from our star mare Lady Buttons at Leopardstown yesterday. She just got beat in a photo for 3rd after a fantastic run under Adam Nicol, gaining ground with some huge leaps to be a clear 2nd by the second last and going on to lead before tiring under a heavy weight. Well done!!!

Todays runners…

We have two runners today in the mares bumper at Newcastle which is unusually the first race of the day and is also to be ran on the all-weather. This will be the third run for True Ballew who has ran respectably in her first two efforts and we see no reason for her to not continue with her progress. She is pint sized but shows great heart and tries her best, which is half the battle already won. Good luck to her with Adam Nicol on board today for her owners The Jessies. Joining her is Bitumen Belle who looked to be very rusty in her last run after some time off and will hopefully have come on for it and show some improvement today for her owners The Well Oiled P’ship, ridden by Nathan Moscrop. Good luck to both mares and owners, come home safe!
