Tuesday 30th – video – Updated

It might have warmed up a bit but just ten days ago we were all wrapped up against the white stuff….we thought you would enjoy this video of a snowy day at Green Oaks….daily news report to follow.

Todays Runner…

Todays runner is Skipthescales at Newcastle for Les & Maureen Richards ridden by Adam Nicol. He ran well for 3rd last time out at Ayr on heavy ground and remains in good form at home so we will be hoping the first time blinkers can help find a little improvement on the better ground today despite having top weight.

Bumper winning Hangard

Phil heads off to Ayr later today with Hangard ahead of his hurdles debut tomorrow in the 2m5 maiden with Adam Nicol on board as his usual jockey Tommy Dowson is still recovering from his badly broken collarbone. He is well accustomed to the track and clearly likes it at Ayr – with both his previous 2 bumpers being there – one an impressive 5l win 1st time out and the other a respectable 4th in awful conditions. Best of luck to him and owners Daniel & Sarah Blake.

Also tomorrow is Man Of Verve at Chelmsford AW. This will be his first run for us and also his first try on the AW, he goes well at home and we hope for a good run from him in this 1m apprentice h’cap with Will Cox who recently won on Mr Carbonator for us. We wish the best of luck to him and owners The Splash Of Verve partnership.
