Philip Kirby Racing

Racehorse Trainer based at Richmond, North Yorkshire

Tues 24th Oct News…

Phil is over in Ireland today at the Goffs Open Yearling & Horses In Training sales to look at a few he has in mind for a couple of orders he has, and of course anything else that might take his eye.

Tomorrow we have two runners at Worcester. The first is Nemean Lion who is in fine form with two wins already since joining us this season. Unfortunately Tommy missed out on his win last time out at Southwell where James Bowen took over for the day as he was struck down with the sickness virus that has been going around, but he’s back on board tomorrow for The Well Oiled P’ship at Worcester. Inevitably up in class for this 2m4 after his latest form of 121, but he seems to be relishing his work so there is hope he can build on his success.

The Resdev Way

In the race after we have The Resdev Way making his first appearance over hurdles in the 2m4 maiden ridden by Tommy Dowson. He has been schooling well at home with Tommy and we think he will benefit from the transfer to jumps. We hope he enjoys his first venture into NH and comes home eager for more.

We wish the best of luck to both The Well Oiled Partnership and Resdev, and a safe return home.
