Thursday 12th October & video

Kilcullen Flem schooling this morning with Adam

Adam was delighted with how this big chestnut horse jumped this morning – he is likely to make his seasonal and stable debut for us at Hexham on Saturday in the 3 mile handicap chase, and he’ll be joined on the box by ‘Allmyown’ for John Birtles and Bill Allan, another new horse to be running first time for us. he will be ridden by Tommy, and both horses are looking fit and well. At York we’ll have Archiposs stepping  up markedly in trip over 2 miles –  can he break our York hoodoo? We’ve had more close seconds there than we’d like to remember. Archiposs ran well at haydock on his Autumn comeback on ground thst we feared would be too heavy for him but he handled it well.

Allmyown, Point winner

‘Archiposs’ a winer on debut this flat season

I’ve had some copyright problems with my ‘Part 2 video’ made last week but songs now removed, here it is, strangely silent in parts but I can’t bring the original audio back now. It is a poignant video for us as it features ‘Askmemore’ who we tragically lost due to a fractured hindleg shortly after this was made. He was a kind young horse with his future ahead of him, and it was a sad day for all of us at the yard. We hope you enjoy seeing some new aspects of the yard and gallops, and some of our daily routine

Some photos from the yard this morning…
