Lady Chloe and her beautiful Presenting foal

Its that lovely time of the year when the mares return from stud with their foals, and we were delighted with Lady Chloe’s foal, a really big strong elegant filly by Ireland’s top living National Hunt sire. She is a real cracker and an exciting future NH prospect.

Its been raining everywhere but here, and the horses were enjoying glorious sunshine in the fields yesterday.

Rococco – Lady Chloe’s first foal and now a 2 year old.

The big lad ‘Stenna’

Phil was at the Cheltenham sale on Thursday and bought a a nice young mare called ‘Gone Away’ who was second on her first completed start in a point to point. She looked like she would have won bar a bad mistake at the last, and looks a really good value purchase to go and contest mares bumpers. She arrived off the horsebox yesterday and didn’t disappoint.

New filly Gone Away

Theres so many nice young horses here for the winter jumps season, we think it could be our best winter yet coming up. We love this Scorpion gelding bought by Keith and Jayne Sivills at Goffs last week…
