Cross bar at Ayr
No winners to report but two very good performances by Ice Galley (2nd) and Fingal’s Cave ( 3rd) in their respective races today at Ayr. Ice Galley was just headed at the line by a battle hardened campaigner, and the pair came nicely clear. This was a big step up and although we never like being 2nd you couldn’t help but be pleased with his improvement.
Fingal’s Cave earned over £1000 for 3rd in his race, a good day at the office and he is proving a most able replacement for Secret Glance who was claimed at Catterick.
