Thursday at Doncaster

Two runners today – lets hope the snow holds off, there are swirling white bits here already…but a lot forecast at Castleton where we used to live – we have it easier now we live at Green Oaks although it can be exposed when the wind blows!

Adam with Suggestion

Adam with Suggestion

Suggestion makes his hurdling debut at Doncaster today in a NH novice, he is a really nice horse for the future but this isn’t his Champion Hurdle and he will require a handicap mark to be competitive. You need a genuine 130 horse to win a winter novice these days, and not many win on their first attempt over obstaces either. We hope Suggestion may develop into a 120/130 horse but he has plenty to learn yet, although we like his attitude schooling at home and he has plenty of scope and size. Adam rides him and knows him well. 25% or 10% shares in him available.

‘Episode’ runs in the last for Red Cap Racing- Tommy Dowson is  back in the plate and if he can improve on his sound effort at Catterick last week then he has another strong chance of making the frame. Episode is a strong traveller that may find getting home easier over this shorter trip. He looks a nice future chaser too.  25% of him remains for sale.

And finally we now have 25% remaining FOR SALE in Good Time Ahead who is entered up and has a strong chance of winning again. £1500 + VAT – If you want an immediate runner and just a 3 year old – sound, tough, and fit  – the share is not likely to remain available at this price for long.
