‘Keep the revvs up,’ said Adam, and thats exactly what he did on Transient Bay yesterday for the big horses second schooling session – all going to plan and Adam enjoying being back in action too. He was also delighted with Lady Buttons having her first schooling session since she came

back into work – you wouldn’t have known she had been off the track at all and jumped slickly and enthusiastically. She has the size and scope to go over fences when the time is right. Eastview Boy schooled over hurdles on this video but he went over fences this morning ridden by Nathan Moscrop and jumped really well – he is likely to head for a novice handicap chase at Hexham for his debut over the larger obstacles, its a good course to start off a novice with inviting fences.

Sakhee’s City’s race was a real anti climax at Wetherby yesterday but the best news was that Lorcan Murtagh who was stretchered off the course  was later ok with just bad bruising and was probably very sore this morning when he got up. ‘Sam’ was also fine and galloped off unscathed – he will be  entered up shortly after a schooling session to get his confidence back. He is pictured here looking well in the paddock and in the pre-parade ring being saddled.
