RAJAPUR for the B.L.U.E Partnership  kicks off the week ahead tomorrow with a 1m 2f handicap at Redcar, he has been coming to hand steadily and was bought with hurdling in mind, it would be good to see him improve again tomorrow and we will learn if he handles the quicker surface. Good luck to his Partnership Owners.

The weather has been great this weekend, and you will shortly be able to see a new video with the horses at exercise and later having a great time in the fields – particularly Factor Fifty and Perennial who loved their turnout this afternoon.

Our new foal has settled in well to his surroundings, he has been called Stanley and all the horses are very curious about him, watching him in the field. He had a great gallop round when he first went out…

To add to this we have the Doncaster sales starting on Tuesday (a 3 days sale) and the 3 year old stores head the first day – we have had plenty of interest for our new National Hunt Partnership, and Phil and I are looking forward to meeting some of those wanting to be involved for a good day out at the sales complex. We will be there from about 9.30 and Phil has marked some well bred youngsters out for inspection – if the right one isn’t found here we will be heading to Goffs in Ireland in early June where there will be another exciting catalogue of 3 year olds on offer. In a couple of years we may have one or two of our homebred youngsters to offer as Partnership

horses, we have some beautifully bred NH youngsters and it would be great to be able to keep some of them to race for the yard.

It was good to see our former bumper winner AVIDITY win a novice chase in good style on saturday at Bangor. We have Avidity’s yearling full brother here in the field, Coco, and we have sold half of him at present. He is a coal black colt who strongly resembles his sire Passing Glance, and his bumper, novice hurdle and novice chase 135 rated 5x winning  brother.
