Its been challenging weather this morning, driving snow and hail just ten minutes ago, but the horses have all been out to exercise now and its been week 1 of our new gallop which has been warmly recieved by everyone who has ridden on it so far – I watched the 2 year old filly ‘Seminole Dream’ whizz round it this morning – she makes her racecourse debut at Pontefract tomorrow over 5f, and the surface rides exactly as Phil and Simon wanted it. Stage 2 of the gallop will be the 4.5f furlong uphill climb towards the house, and this be completed in the next few weeks. I will bring some photos from it when the weather is less challenging to stand outside with an ipad!

We were pleased with the run of Pass Muster on Sunday at Musselburgh for The Pipedream Partnership – although it would have been nice if he had just kept his head in front for 3rd (beaten a nose) as he was a nice EW price at 14-1. Hopefully a 1lb or 2 off might help him get his head in front next time and he could have done with a stronger pace. He won the £100 Best Turned Out prize and looked great in the paddock.

It is handicap marks day and Call it On was raised 4lb for his Market Rasen success which is fair enough, good to see Eastview Boy dropped 3lb after his winning form has not worked out as well as it should. Moscow Presents went up 2lbs for his close 2nd.

Partnership owners please check your emails later – updates arriving.
