Thursday’s News – and video

We hope you enjoy the video I have made from our new yard at Green Oaks – the next one will feature our All Weather gallop, and the new schooling fences and hurdles that are being positioned in the enormous field you see the horses cantering around on the video. One horse name I accidentally missed out – its CALL IT ON the chestnut in the sand school after the mare ‘Bitumen Belle’ being schooled by Lauren.

Transient Bay

Please see our next news post for the latest Partnership we will be launching – another young National Hunt horse Partnership, and lets hope he or she will follow in the footsteps of ‘Transient Bay’ – three wins and a second for The Waking Ned Partnership this season and an exciting novice chaser for next winter.

We saw a solid start to Mr Chuckles 3 year old season at Ripon yesterday with a good staying on 5th in a competitive 14 runner event. He is a gorgeous little horse who has improved physically for the winter on his back and looked a picture in the paddock led up by Julie. We looks set for a good flat season with him.

Seminole Dream was made a non runner as Phil did not want to give her a hard race first time out on heavy ground – she is ready to go and may run next Thursday – this is a very nice filly who we can thoroughly recomend buying if you are looking for a nice 2 year old.

No runners today but tomorrow its Rajapur at Nottingham –  trying turf with us for the first time, he has been struggling on the AW and is possibly just a bit weak at present although he came from Ireland with a handicap mark that was too high for the runs he had for Dermot Weld. We hope he copes with the give in the ground as he jumps well and will make a nice hurdler when he srengthens up.
