First Green Oaks winner

We have had three near misses in the last seven days but Quadriga stuck to his task well for Douggie Costello at Southwell yesterday to record our first official winner from the new base. He has now been 3rd, 2nd and 1st on his last 3 starts and is at the top of his game. Phil was particularly happy to see him win in his own colours – a nice bit of prize money into the pot – but we will also be happy to free lease or sell Quadriga to stay in the yard, it couldn’t be a better time to own him.

We have a great chance of making it two from two at Wolverhampton this evening – City Dreams is favourite to avenge her 2nd place last week when failing to get a break in time to challenge. Hopefully she will be in the same sort of form and can record her first flat win. Good luck to Brian Dunn whose yellow colours will be carried on his tall black mare.

We have multiple  entries at Sedgefield tomorrow, possibles at this stage including Moscow Presents and Sakhee’s City – and Mac Tiernan runs at Wolverhampton.
