Easter Monday – updated

Phil with Rocky Two
There has been some great teamwork this week and last as we bring the horses and all gear from SharpHill to Green Oaks, there are just twelve horses left to bring now and they will all be in their new home by Thursday. It was a very wet morning but the horses were out with their waterproof sheets on and those at Green Oaks absolutely loved their exercise round the huge fields after a warm up in the manege , the AW gallop is just a few days from being fully completed.

Quadriga with Julie points his toe across the manege , he runs tomorrow at Southwell. Moshe trots behind.
Yesterday saw the first day for three years and three months that Phil didn’t ‘ leave’ to go to work. Talking to him, we both agree it feels morelike eight years! Such has been the drive to and from Middleham

Fillies for the future – the Yeats filly with Andorn’s filly at Castleton
every day from Castleton and then often going racing as well on top of that. It was fantastic to have the horses just outside, and our life has now completely changed for the better, we can’t quite believe it. In two more days all the horses from Middleham will be here and everyone will breathe a huge sigh of relief! We still have a good number to bring back from Castleton but our small team there are doing a good job and we will have all moved here in the next couple of weeks, it ‘s a longer job collecting them from there!
We picked up Full Speed and Perennial from Castleton on Sunday, here they are in their new boxes at Green Oaks…

We also now have all the Partnership horses here but King’s Grey, Call it On was very pleased with his new surroundings….
