Monday at Carlisle
We have two good chances at Carlisle today, Cleve Cottage and Courtown Oscar, so we were pleased the inspection passed and we can look forward to seeng them run, both will be ridden by Adam Nicol. Cleve has been steadily improving this year and his latest start at Wetherby when he was third held plenty of promise. Courtown schooled well for Adam last week and hopefully the 12 days in between his last race will be enough for him to get back to winning ways.
It was a beautiful morning at Sharp Hill and I took this photo of part of second lot hacking back to the yard, you can see Next Edition pricking his ears with his white stripe at the front with Sarah.
Apologies for the lack of regular updates and videos not uploading as we are still having Broadband problems at our new house, basically,we haven’t got any as Sky messed up our order! We now have a new provider bringing us wi fi from the 29th. I am currently updating via phones or when in a wi fi area, so please bear with me if slow to respond to emails.
Its an important day at Green Oaks as the first stables are going into Barn 1, this is it all ready for them to arrive, drainage done in the centre.
