Tuesday at Wetherby

stenna headWe have a good chance of getting back on the scoresheet today at Wetherby as Transient Bay bids for his second win of the season under Adam Nicol. We would like to forget his last run when the slow pace of the race did not help at all, and for certain Adam will be pushing on if no one wants to make it a test. Cleve Cottage is our other runner of the day but he needs to improve on his recent outings to get in the frame and we also have to hope the fall last time out did not dent his confidence. he will be heading over fences shortly which is the job he was bred to do once we have a good clear round over hurdles. he schooled well on Saturday and it seems as though it was just an unfortunate blip last time when picking up too early at the first hurdle. Adam said he came down on top of it.

Tomorrow its DBS sales and Phil will be heading there to look for a couple of young horses, we havent got anything going this time.
