Saturday winner!

Triple Eight wins again!

Triple Eight wins again!

We are celebrating an exciting win at Stratford this afternoon with old favourite TRIPLE EIGHT – Phil had found a great 11169409_1019815774729511_3015282010805736559_nopportunity for him –  and Adam (right)  gave him a peach of a ride to just keep his big white nose in front on the line for his Owners ‘Theredhotgardogs’. This is Triple’s second win of the summer and his first over hurdles. he has always been a good jumper but its took him a while for the penny to drop and it was good to see him fulfill his potential in this sphere.

Phil has had an extremely busy day, he took both the days runners and is now on his way back from Wolverhampton with Full Speed  after continuing there from Stratford! Its not often you get to train and lead up two runners at two different tracks,  on the same day!! The journey back won’t be quite so long with another winner on the board, and

Iftikaar in winning form.

although Full Speed didn’t fire, he finished sound and lives to fight another day – he has been off for18 months and its just taking a while for him to come back to himself, he is a big gross horse.

Tomorrow it a BIG DAY for NEXT EDITION and IFTIKAAR – our two runners at YORK. Iftikaar has

won 2 of his last 3 starts, and although this is ultra competitive, he has a sound each way chance for owners Keith and Jayne Sivills. We would have liked the ground a bit softer for him but it should stay genuinley good and there should be no excuses. The ground will also suit Next Edition who has been beaten into 2nd in his last 3 runs at York, twice in a photo. Eddie is so genuine and we would love him to get his head in front tomorrow for his enthusiastic and loyal  Owners, many of whom have been with him for the last 4 years. He has been tipped up by a good few columnists, and with the horses  absolutely flying, we wouldnt be suprised to see him run another big race.

Rumble of Thunder ran a sound race for third on Wednesday in the handicap at Southwell with Adam on board. This was the best run of his summer so far so hopefully he can go on and improve again with a few more pounds off his back.
