2 year olds for 2016

We have four very smart yearlings at the yard now that are worth careful consideration if you are looking for a good 2 year old for next year, and the three fillies are all available for shares.

We were excited to see the 2 year old colt MINT CHAI win last week, he has already been 2nd in 3 decent maidens and won a good ‘Plus 10’ 14 runner race at Bellewstown for Ger Lyons. He is rated mid 80’s , and we have for sale his HALF SISTER, ‘Enlighten Me’ who runs for  ‘The Shades of Grey Partnership’. With her we are offering an all inclusive price of £1000 for the minimum 2% share up to the end of the 2016 flat season. However, we also have for sale shares of 25% (£12500) or 10% (£5000) ALL in, no other costs, from now until she

goes to the sales at the end of 2016, you then receive your share of the price she makes plus

any prize money won during 2016. Any share of 25% or larger could also have their name on the Partnership – so she would run in the name ‘The Shade of Grey P’ship & ‘…………………………’ if so wished.

Given that the dam ‘Tea Chest’  has now bred 2 runners from 2 winners, (her first foal is a winner at 2,3 and 4 in UK and Australia and rated in the 90’s)  this filly could be a really decent and she is  forward, good moving individual. Phil selected her as a  foal at the Goffs sales last winter, she is by the top notch sprint 2 year old winner SIR PRANCEALOT  who will have his first 2 year old runners next year. She can be seen at Castleton, please ask for details of her full pedigree if interested.

We also have at Castleton the yearling fillies owned by CASTLETON BLOODSTOCK, two well grown, free moving yearlings by Arcano and Equiano from black type families. We would love them to stay in the yard, details of their page and price can be viewed on  here is their recent video:

Lastly but by no means least is the fabalous looking ZOFFANY COLT who is entered at  Book 2 at Tattersalls in October but private enquiries welcome on a 100% basis.  Phil loves this athletic looking colt who looks just like his sire, a revelation as a first season sire with 3 individual winners at Royal Ascot this year. Phil would love to be training him in 2016.
