Tuesday 11th July
Its a non racing day for the yard, we drew a blank at Ayr yesterday with Next Edition, but he ran okay in hot company and with a bit of help from the handicapper we feel he can be back to winning ways soon. Sarah had him looking great in the paddock, next stop might be York for him where he has been 2nd an agonising three times in the apprentice race. Iftikaar found three races just a bit much and he will have an easy week or two now, he’s been in great form.
Tomorrow we have Splash of Verve in the last at Beverley, we have got Graham Lee back on board and he is currently 2nd fav. He is a real fast ground horse and loved it at Beverley last time he won there.

Phil is one of the shareholders in this succesful new venture, and Mr Chuckles, the first horse purchased last year, and first runner to date made it a winning start.
We were delighted to read that Elspeth’s Boy had won the Ladies Side Saddle Class at the big Royal Lancs Show at the weekend…Shirley has done an amazing job retraining him to this high level.
