Friday’s News – updated
No winner today but hopefully chance of one in the next few days with Episode and O’scar Oscar declared. Birthday Guest is fine and finished mid field today.
Factor Fifty leads up Episode
Earlier News…..Its Doncaster today with one runner and Birthday Guest should
appreciate the better ground. He has James Reveley on board for the first time, he is a genuine little horse who has been on the go a while but the handicapper seems to have him in his grip at present. He won races in Germany but only low grade so came here with a mark of 46 on the flat , his opening mark over hurdles of 97 seemed unusually steep. He will go back on the flat after a break this summer and try to add to his tally, as he is such a little trier he is sure to pick up a race or two.
Stenna, Oscar and Episode had a canter round the grass this morning, which they really enjoyed, all run in the next couple of days. Episode is declared for tomorrow at Sedgefield but wouldn’t want any rain, Hugo Thompson-brown has his first ride for us on him claiming 10lbs, and he will be looking forward to trying to get his first winner under rules.
