Wednesday’s News
It’s a day without runners but Owners coming to the yard and so many in work that its never a quiet day at Sharp Hill. Yesterday the bumper horses worked, and pleasing Phil enough to name him was our own ‘Prince’ out of Show Potential who we are going to call ‘Improved’ . True to his name he has been steady to come to hand, but he is learning his job now and will be aimed at bumpers along with a large team of nicely bred horses we are looking forward to running this winter.
The Bumper Horses:
Unnamed Iktibas gelding (Willie)
Unnamed King’s Theater filly
Back Baby Paris (by Flemensfirth)
Dibble Bridge
Episode (Passing Glance x Epicurean)
Givehimaglance (by Passing Glance)
Kayf’s Honor ( Kayf Tara) 50% for sale
Libby Mae ( High Chapparal)
Master Moon (Excellent Art x Moon on a Spoon)
My Answer (by Kayf Tara x Annie’s Answer)
Preacher’s Belle (Courteous x Moonshine Malt)
Improved (Show Potential x Rainwatch)
Nabateo (Sea the Stars x Rosa del Dubai )
Sakhee’s City (Sakhee )
Up the Bees (Kayf Tara x West River)
Vic’s last Stand (Old Vic)
Whizz back Bob (Kayf Tara )
We have a good team to go novice hurdling as w ell, spearheaded by our recent winners, Noir Girl & Factor Fifty. A few of these bumper/flat horses will be going jumping sooner rather than later, and some going straight over timber will be:
Aniknam
Kiwayu
Lady Buttons
Transient Bay
Toola Boola
Silver Flora
Celtic Agent
Hail the Brave
Indalo Returns
Lowcarr Motion
Can’tbelieveit
Add these to our seasoned campaigners like Everaard, Cool Operator, Stopped Out, Rumble of Thunder, Matthew Riley, Full Speed, Just Cameron , Woodpole Academy, and others, we should be in for an exciting winter ahead.
Here’s another seasoned campaigner that looks like he is in need of a rest! perhaps we are working him too hard….!!!
