MUSIDORA STAKES DAY TOMORROW
A huge day for the yard and all connected with Listed winner, Lady Heidi.

Our first runner in a Group Race – there is no underestimating the importance of tomorrow’s runner – the weather Gods have been lucky and we hope you will enjoy watching ‘Lady Heidi’ on Channel 4 tomorrow. This is her first race of the season, we have to remember she improved with every start last year and came into herself best in the Autumn, however, she is very fit (as you can see from the photo), she is well in her coat, and will love the ground. More rain tonight? bring it on…it looks as though the favourite might be out due to the ground conditions. Racing Posts comment on our runner:
Lady Heidi: Stable not yet associated with Group-race performers but this filly has the potential to be one, having won Pontefract Listed (1m, heavy, 20-1 outsider of five) on final 2yo start, stepping up markedly on her two maiden efforts; no apparent fluke about that success and the bare form is among the best on offer in this field.

‘Rosie du Berlais’ jumped a clear round at Sedgefield today, but did make some jumping errors and didn’t make the first three. She may reappear over hurdles next season to get her confidence back jumping.
Tomorrow we have last seasons top Apprentice, Oisin Murphy coming in to ride out.
The new ‘Fast Company’ 2 year old colt is pleasing Phil, he is pictured here up the gallops, photo by Keith Foster.
Foaling News: We are pleased to announce that Hula Ballew has had a bay filly foal by Equiano. We have sold the mare to local Owners, the Wood family who are putting her to Shirocco, but we are retaining the filly at weaning. Hope to get a photo of the foal when she returns from Glenview Stud in Ireland.
