Monday’s news

No winners at Mussleburgh , not the best of weeks but this is a game of ups and downs…. Both Burns Night and Worth a King’s were not actually beaten far in this 0-85 competitive handicap – performances that would be competitive in many other races. This was on the short side for both of them and they will be upped in trip next time.  Elspeth’s Boy was disappointing despite looking a picture (look at that plaited tail!)  – he may head back to the AW next. The folliwng two photos are by Miles Johnston – many thanks!

And I love this photo of Platinum and Russ sitting cool as a cucumber as he bucks out of the paddock on the way to the course. Thanks to one of our owners, Nicky Wiggins, who managed to get such a good shot!
