Monday at Carlisle part 1 & news
Whoshotthesherrif and Sean schooling starts home
We are about to start today’s proceedings with ABINGTON PARK having his 2nd start over hurdles at Carlisle… he has a decent level of ability but realistically will need novice handicaps to be seen to best effect and another run following this, providing he complete both of his next 2 starts safely, will enable him to run off a handicap mark. He will learn plenty about the game in these outings, and we were pleased with how he travelled and jumped at Hexham before getting tired 2f out.
Our 3 today….
Winfola comes next and although this is a small field it’s a tight race and she’ll need to hurdle fluently and handle this undulating track to figure. She’s only contested flat tracks on the main so far so this is a fact finding mission and we hope she runs a decent race for her Partnership as she did on the flat last time at Carlisle.
