Newcastle winner!
A wonderful win by Eastview Boy and Adam Nicol yesterday – and a proud moment for Eddie Coates & Eastview Thoroughbreds who bred this smart gelding by Iktibas. It was really good prize money for this race – over £6000 to the winner – well done Newcastle racecourse for putting up such a generous prize.
We almost had a double – Sakhee’s City coming a good 2nd at Haydock in the fog – only going down to the well backed favourite. He is a classy horse who travels supremely well in his races, he should land a decent prize soon and is a model of consistency. Courtown Oscar did not run his race and there will be better days for him upped in trip.
