It might be Derby Day but we are at Haydock this afternoon with ‘ Imjajorblush’ who runs in the 12.00 over 1m 2f with Andrew Elliott on board. This is very much a test to see if he handles the soft ground – it isn’t guaranteed and probably why he is such a generous price. Time may prove that he is more an AW horse but today we’ll see if he has another string to his bow. He had a few little problems last year but it’s been plain sailing now and he’s feeling fresh & well.
Monday sees our first jumpers entered , all in the 2 divisions of the novice hurdle at Uttoxeter – The Mayne Man, Ninepin Bowler & Fabrication. Three horses who will hopefully blossom once into novice handicap company but they have to achieve a mark first and gain valuable hurdling experience. They’ve been doing plenty of schooling at home during the week.
Virtually all the Jumpers are back in work now – here are some familiar Partnership horses in the warm up arena…
and some turnout fun…
And some photos from the last few days…it’s either been red hot or windy and wet 🤷♀️
