Phil is pictured here with ‘Man of Verve’ and he makes up our quartet of runners at Ponte today on what should be beautiful ground after rain late last week and now 2 drying days. Phil is looking almost as trim as his runner after 3 months on his Pelaton bike every day 🚴🏽♂️
The times are :
FIRCOMBE HALL 12.20, MONT BLANC 12.50, BAHKIT 4.25, MAN OF VERVE 5.00
Our 2 year olds are both reappearing relatively quickly as they didn’t have hard races and have come out of their Newcastle experiences well. Neither were beaten far and we would hope to see natural improvement this afternoon. Kevin Stott rides the colt and Tom Eaves the filly.

Mont Blanc
Bahkit will be carrying the pink and purple of Joyce Porter and like our other Owners, she will be delighted to be watching her horses again on TV even if no Owners can be at the track yet to watch.
The noble head of Bahkit
Bahkit needs to show some decent form off his mark, he’s been frustrating but remains very enthusiastic at home and enjoys his racing. We’d love this to be a good summer for him.
Bahkit & Man of Verve working together last week
Man of Verve comes off the back of a lengthy outlay and although will come on for the run, looks in great shape for being off 476 days. Andrew Elliott rides both our runners in Div 1 and 2 of the 1m 2f contest.
While the weather was bad we kept our mares & foals in for a few days but they were loving being out of ‘lockdown’ on Sunday… we hope you enjoy this video 🐎
Lady Westerner & Chico
And some photos from the yard the last few days. With more horses back in to work we have welcomed some of our furloughed staff back, including Thomas and Issey…

Fading Icon – trimming up nicely after a lengthy lay off
Little Bruce is back! One of our favourite horses…. he’s hugely popular with our Facebook followers
Raiff & Lord Toronago
And with less than an hour to go before racing starts….best of luck to our Owners 🍀🍀🍀
