Newcastle winner!

Well done to Cavalieri and his Owners after a smooth success at Newcastle this afternoon. Cavalieri had hinted at success being round the corner on his previous start, and it all came together today, and he looked the winner from some way out. Perennial has run his final race and finishes sound and ready to go to a super new home.

Kevin Stott rode Cavvy today and gave him an excellent ride in this Apprentice race.

Transient Bay does not run at Southwell tomorrow, the ground is still too quick there so he is a likely runner at at Uttoxeter on Sunday. Also entered there is Improved.

Next week sees Tattersall sales again and the Castleton Bloodstock yearling by Mastercraftsman is Newmarket bound. He is a scopey, very good walking colt who although still unfurnished, is going to develop into a fantastic 3 year old given time. We really like him.
