Triple Eight with Katy who bids for a win at Redcar today
We saddle two runners in the 4.50 at Redcar today – Triple for the
Cavalieri
Redhotgardogs & Cavalieri for the Wyatt and Marshall families – both geldings great characters in our yard. We think both have good each way chances, they are below their last winning marks and are well at home. Cavalieri is yet to find his form – possibly a return to the AW will do this – but he has won on turf and is still capable. Triple has been running right up to his mark over hurdles with two recent photo finish 2nds, he deserves to get his head in front this season and he has been stretching Katy’s arms a few inches up the gallop this week, he is really loving his work.
Some further photos from the gallop at the weekend….
Peter with 3 year old filly Gabster – for sale
Adam with Bertie Blake by Beneficial – a couple of shares remaining
Everything is going to plan with Bertie above,a £41,000 euro purchase at The Landrover Goffs Sale. We have just made his entry in the £200,000 Landrover Bumper Final in Ireland next Spring. Let’s hope he is capable of running in that class of race, there is no reason why not and Phil said on Sunday he will be very disappointed if he is not up to winning his bumper as he looks a very capable individual and does everything so easily, he wished he had a yard full like him.
The gorgeous looking Bertie Blake, nearside
Phil will not be at the races today as he is at Doncaster Sales with a couple of potential orders: I will be bringing news from the sales later
