Lady Chapp with her Presenting foal, Stanley
We are enjoying some amazing weather and today it’s going to be a scorcher, the horses all enjoying a cold shower after exercise and a turnout in the paddocks which they love.

Triple Eight found the track a bit sharp at Cartmel yesterday but still ran his usual good race for 5th, staying on all the way to the line. We also had a good race by Cavalieri at Redcar who looks to be going the right way and hopefully into top spot next time. Moshe also ran well at Haydock in a 0-85 a running on 5th – he couldn’t get his lead but raced handily and kept on genuinely – when the ground gets soft late in the season he should hopefully be able to win a decent handicap or two.
The new gallop is riding well and I will be bringing a new video in the next few days. Phil is riding more again now we have new gallop man, also called Phil! Trainer Phil is pictured here aboard Keep Up, who hasn’t been keeping up at all but is going a bit better of late.

Keep Up on the new gallop
The long gallop with the gradual uphill pull, it’s not fenced yet – but this green area to the left will be fenced paddocks and the grass on the right hand side will be a grass gallop
Call it On
We have had a stop start season with Colin pictured above but he has run two good races for a win at Market Rasen & 3rd at Aintree , he has been suffering with sore feet but he has special glue on shoes now and Phil is hoping the problem is going – he looked really good at exercise with Simon yesterday and shouldn’t be too long off his third start for The Green Oaks Partnership.
