A good win by the 3 year old Archiposs at Hamilton this afternoon – photo by Sandy Frew
It always gives great satisfaction when a long term plan comes off
Archiposs as a yearling
….Phil bought Archiposs at the sales as a yearling for Castleton Bloodstock – he wasn’t quite ready to run as a 2 year old so was kept back for a 3 year old career and he looks nicely progressive now showing a really likeable attitude in this 8f maiden. With a mixture of speed and stamina in his pedigree, he doesn’t look as though a further step up in trip would inconvenience him and the manner in which he kept battling on and sticking his neck out was the most pleasing aspect – PJ Macdonald giving him a lovely ride and a good winning interview on Racing UK.
PJ is back on board for us tomorrow at Hamilton – this time partnering Whitchurch in the 1m 4f handicap. There are only 6 decs and the predicted rain should not be a problem for him. Phil is back for another tasty Owners & Trainers lunch at the Scottish track tomorrow and another winner would be most welcome.
