All lots did some work in the arena first and before anyone started riding, Lauren was lunging the Shades of Grey filly, Enlighten Me and she looked really well.

Izzy joined in with her racing shetland, its great to be on Easter holidays! She is in training for the Shetland Derby at Musselburgh onApril 28th if she passes her training day assessment in two weeks time.
All the 2 year old fillies went out in the paddocks after work and they had an afternoon on the spring grass. The colts watched them with interest across the fields but didn’t get up! They are a really relaxed bunch.

On Wednesday we so nearly celebrated Julie having her first winner but she was worn down by top jock Simon Walker at the post, Quadriga running a huge race though for 2nd at 25-1, he has been second on his last two starts now. Mac Tiernan was not placed yesterday and it is taking him longer to come back after his time off from racing.
No runners today but its now looking like two at the weekend – Transient Bay tomorrow and Improved on Sunday.
