track in good time for the first but he will be able to relax this evening and watch the replay with a can of Guinness, and look forward to this lovely young horses next start, he is a really exciting staying chaser of the future having won three of his last four starts for us now. This was an Amateur race and Matthew Hampton from down South gave him a lovely ride and made his first time at Carlisle a winning one. Congratulations to his Owners Boretech ltd, who also have Moscow Presents running next week. You wonder if Courtown could even be a Grand National horse for them one day? He certainly has the size and scope, he just needs to keep on improving now. Here is a photo of him up on the gallops in the summer….he looks every inch an Aintree type.
