The 100 acre grassland farm has a perfect steady incline from the bottom of the land back up to the stables at the top – the all weather and grass gallops will run towards home which is well known to keep horses happy in their work. As well as a smart new Racing Office and Owners room, the yard will have approx 55 boxes in well ventilated American barns – cool in summer and warm in winter; an isolation yard, a covered walker, washing bays, an equine solarium, an all weather arena for flatwork and steady exercise, a further AW loop gallop than can be used seperately or in conjuction with the main gallop, Schooling hurdles & fences on grass and an AW surface- and an abundance of post and rail paddocks for daily turnout for our runners. At this amount of stables it is our intention to keep In Training horses to a sensible figure so that we can continue to provide the individual attention we have always offerred. Phil, I and our girls will be moving there over Christmas ahead of the first horses arriving, and work is well underway to ensure an early 2016 full moving date. We are very pleased to say that our excellent team from Middleham are all keen to stay with us, and once settled in we look forward to holding an Owners Day and an OPEN DAY for the general public sometime in the spring of next year.

MAC TIERNAN is back in training for a new Joint Ownership and he will be seen on the all weather over Christmas ahead of a flat campaign next year. Mac won his last 2 races for us before an injury setback but he has had plenty of time away from racing to fully recover and we look forward to getting him back in the winners enclosure again.
King’s Grey is enjoying his roadwork at Castleton, i took this photo of him and Call It On out hacking on Friday with Kim and new staff member, Rachel Hudspith.
