Matthew Riley ran an excellent race at Doncaster today – another frustrating 2nd (3 out of our last 4 runners have been 2nd but luckily a win was the other) , Richie got a good late run from him but he was never quite catching the winner. His turn will surely come soon – the horses are running very well, Pass Muster has been entered for Musselburgh on Monday and he looks to have a good chance of winning his 3rd race for us, he has already proved he loves the track.
I took this lovely photo of Full Speed (Ryan) enjoying his time out in the sunshine today at Castleton, he is such a handsome horse.
Earlier News: Good luck to our runner today at Doncaster – Matthew Riley for Paul and Jean Chapman in the 3.55 3 m h’cap hurdle, its a competitive 13 runner affair and looks like it will take some winning. Matthew had an easy few weeks after his last good run (2nd) and hopefully he is feeling refreshed to post a first win of the season today, Richie is his regular pilot and knows him well.
