February round up….

Its safe to say we think we have had enough rain this month and the temperature has been definitely a little on the chilly side! Although when the sun does shine, the crisp cold mornings are much better than the constant soaking of rain every time you step out of the barn.

We have had some good winners this month with the first being Polar Princess winning on Valentines Day at Newcastle with Hollie Doyle on board, well deserved following her 2 previous close 2nds. On the 16th we had the very talented Special Rate up at Kelso with Ross Chapman in the saddle to add a 7th win to his tally – making it 7 out of 8 for his fantastic season. Then Mick’s Jet hit form again on the 18th winning handily in the hands of Joe at Musselburgh, making all and cruzing through the finish looking very cool! That brings us up to yesterday at Southwell with homebred Please Please Me breaking her maiden on her 4th try, beating the odds on favourite with Billy Garritty on board for owner/breeder Ace Bloodstock. Not a bad few weeks work, congrats to all owners and of course the team behind it all at home – thanks everyone!
