Fircombe Hall deserved his win at Newcastle last night after some consistent efforts this season. PJ Mcdonald gave him a top ride and he came with a lovely run up the stands side rail. He has now won at 2 & 3 and we are so looking forward to his 2 years younger brother Hercules appearing next season. He lives in the next door stable & is currently being broken in. Both are bred by John Hanson of Ace Bloodstock and the dam, Marmot Bay is in foal again.
BUSBY ran a tremendous race and did everything BUT win earlier on the card, Dale Swift so unlucky not to post a double following his first winner back. Busby is a real trier and did his very best to win his second race for us
Earlier in the day we had ANOTHER THEATRE at Southwell who jumped safely on a return to chasing and will prefer a softer surface next time, she wasn’t beaten too far and definately stayed this first try at 3 miles.
Stargazer is our only runner today, he makes the long trip to Kempton for a classy 0-95 handicap at 6pm & our superstar flat performer goes there with a solid chance over 2 miles, his favoured trip nowadays. We love watching him run.
